German artist Elisa Strozyk is in the practice of creating the impossible: beautiful carpets and rugs made of wood. Strozyk dyes and connects row upon row of wood pieces, pulling together the pieces to form an intricate coloured wooden rug which is so flexible that it can literally be crumpled up and tossed in a corner or placed over a chair like a throw blanket.
