CLOUD GAZING: A SERIES BY JOCELYN MICHEL

Ever glimpsed a figure or form emerging from the clouds, fleeting and esoteric, like peeking behind the curtain into a different, more enchanted reality? “Based On A True Story” is a wistful and dreamy photo series shot by Quebecois artist Jocelyn Michel focusing on the fluffy and intriguing shapes of cumulus clouds drifting across Northern skies. Collaborating with Visual Box and CUMULUS, a cloud observation station in Frelighsburg Quebec, it was an ongoing, six year project that resulted in these incredible glimpses of true magic in the sky.
