Well sure you can play it straight but these five top chefs decided to reinvent the form and create gourmet burgers for New York City’s famous Shake Shack. Starting today June 9 and running to June 13, you can try one of these gems for yourself. Which one catches your eye?
Tuesday (6/10): David Chang’s “Momofuku Shrimp Stack,” a Shack beef-blend cheeseburger topped with smoked and griddled shrimp patty, Momofuku Hozon Sauce, Bibb lettuce, pickled onion, and salted cucumber.
Thursday (6/12): Daniel Humm’s “Humm Burger,” a Shack beef-blend Gruyère cheeseburger topped with all-natural applewood smoked bacon, celery relish, Bibb lettuce, truffle mayo, and shaved fresh black truffle.
