Spike Jonze's short film 'I'm Here - A love story in an Absolut world' came online today. Sponsored by Absolut Vodka (wonder how much they paid), it follows the love story of 2 robots. It's beautiful ... and sad and the music is amazing.

There are limited views so head across to here and you'll placed in a queue. I had problems getting it to load so tracked it down on Youtube ...

Wheelchair-bound Danish-Norwegian artist Nina Maria Kleivan got bored so hatched a project. She dressed her 4 month old daughter up as 9 famous dictators including Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Hussein, Mussolini. She sewed all the outifts and then photographed the result. Interesting ...

Kleivan: "We are all born as a blank slate. Who knows who we'll become? I wanted people to think about where tremendous evil comes from."

Wayfarers on Stuff White People Like

Stuff White People Like is a bit of a crack-up and they had a good post last year about Wayfarers. With summer just around the corner, set yourself up in a park and get counting. They're all out there!

- White people can do powerful things with their eyes: casting judgment, indicating scorn, and obnoxiously rolling them when someone says something they don’t agree with. Yet in spite of these powers, they are not immune to the dangers of the sun. So white people must wear sunglasses. But what may surprise you is that while white people will spend upwards of three months finding a perfect pair of unique prescription glasses, they have no such requirement for sunglasses. Right now, all white people are either wearing or coveting a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.

These sunglasses are so popular now that you cannot swing a canvas bag
at a farmers market without hitting a pair. In fact, at outdoor
gatherings you should count the number of Wayfarers so you can
determine exactly how white the event is. If you see no Wayfarers you
are either at Country music concert or you are indoors (more here).

BriTANick: Two guys wasting their careers. This comedic duo have been kicking around for a while now and I just came across their latest video 'Academy Award Winning Movie Trailer.' It's been a long week but this was a good 3 minute laugh.

Canadian rockers Metric are headed our way! I saw these guys a few years back and they were pretty wack!

They released their 4th album 'Fantasies' last year and are touring off the back of this. Here's a track from that album.
